NXT World Order
The world cannot stop talking about the Invasion angle that occurred at the end of RAW. With WWE Management and the Pros voting off each individual until Wade Barrett was declared the winner, who could have foreseen this happening? As it should be noted, it is not okay to injure WWE officials and employees. But the excitement that NXT has instilled in long time wrestling fans gives them a pass.
After an aborted push on RAW, Kofi Kingston has rebuilt himself on SmackDown. He had a stellar match with Christian during a mock Intercontinental Title bout, which could be seen as Christian passing the torch. And at Over the Limit, Kofi reclaimed the I-C Title against the seemingly untouchable Drew McIntyre. Despite this being Kofi’s 2nd run with the belt, this truly feels like his most dominant reign from any title held prior.
Before he reclaimed his GM position, Teddy Long was Vickie’s personal assistant. One would think that the dark cloud had been lifted. But the signing of Drew McIntyre has proved that wrong. Drew’s relentless undermining of Long’s authority has not only made Long weak, but unfit for the GM position.
John Morrison was finally rising up the ranks of SmackDown with a phenomenal performance in the Elimination Chamber. But by reverting back to tag team wrestling and then being drafted to RAW, John Morrison has fallen off the grid. Aside from his current mentor role on NXT, John Morrison has scarcely been seen on RAW.
