Who is Suicide? A question debated around many wrestling circles. Turns out many have dawned the red skull mask. Among them were Frankie Kazarian, Christopher Daniels, Kiyoshi, and–as revealed by Hulk Hogan—TJ Perkins.
TJP returned to IMPACT Wrestling (previously wrestled as Puma) and built momentum as Suicide only to get screwed out of an opportunity–or option–of a lifetime.
With the announcement of Destination X returning July 18, the current X Division title holder has the option to relinquish the championship to challenge for the World Heavyweight title.
This option has worried the current World Champion Bully Ray, who went around putting the fear of “Bully Ray” into the hearts of the “little X Division guys”.
The big reveal that Austin Aries had attacked Perkins in the back, entered the X Division title match as Suicide and won was both the most underhanded and brilliant act in A-Double’s career.
It is only fitting that the man who invented Option C would once again have the power to trade the X Division title towards a shot at Bully Ray’s World title. Austin Aries has defeated Bully Ray once before, and even cashed in on Option C to defeat Bobby Roode for the World title last year.
If anyone can take down Bully Ray, it’s The Greatest Man that Ever Lived.
On another note, the ominous Darth Vader-esk voice used was exactly how this blogger envisioned Suicide to sound.
Answer the Question: Should Austin Aries be stripped of the X Division championship seeing as he illegally entered a championship match under false pretenses?
